Nature was our (HTS BeSafe AS) inspiration when we designed iZi Go. The egg served as BeSafe model – simple and strong. It was important for BeSafe to create a light and strong seat which is easily moved in and out of the car, and easily placed on the stroller. An integrated sunshade protects your child from the sun. Pull it up and your child has his own safe space in the car.

The parents worries are BeSafe worries, we admit. If the parents do not believe in the products, they will certainly not buy them. Since faulty installation is the most common cause of traffic injuries for children, it was BeSafe goal to make the installation as easy as possible. The lap belt of the car goes over the product and the shoulder belt of the car goes behind the seat through the hooks with the blue friction parts. The friction parts make sure that the seat will be stable in the car. Crash tests have proven that the seat performs very well in both frontal impact and side impact.

A parent’s life is (mostly) no picnic. In and out of cars, up and down stairs, in and out of strollers.

iZi Sleep

Babies may experience difficulties in sitting upright for any length of time. Medical experts advise the first three months a baby should not sit longer than max. 1 ½ hour. Why?... A baby`s head represents 25% of the total body weight and make a pressure on the spine. This might be unhealthy when sitting too long. When sitting upright too long, the chest might be pressed together and breathing ability will be reduced. This will cause blocking of oxygen uptake! Ref. Brittish Medical Journal, see separate chapter. Therefore BeSafe iZi Sleep is made with a reclined position!

In the car iZi Sleep has to be in upright position for safety reasons. As travelling system or at home you recline the seat and the baby can have a healthy and horizontal position as recommended by medical experts.

iZi Comfort

Misuse and wrong installation is a very frequent problem by child safety seats. Studies from Germany (BAST) show that 65% of all seats are used or installed wrongly. The most common misuse is a lot of slack in the belt installation. By an frontal impact and slack installation the child will be thrown forward and might smash into the front seat or fragment scoming into the seating area.

BeSafe iZiComfort X1 has a patented belt installation system that makes installation in a car very easy and unlike to other car seats in same weight group.

Thanks to the belt tensioning system the seat can be installed extremely tight without need of a “muscleman”.

iZi Combi

The top-selling combi seat in Norway

BeSafe iZi Combi X3 is a brand new combi seat that lets your child sit facing rearwards until 4 years of age (child should sit facing the rear of the car for as long as possible). BeSafe does not recommend facing forwards until 2½ years of age at the earliest.

The seat has been designed with a brand new harness system that reduces the impact on the child in the event of a collision, resulting in a considerable improvement in safety. Besides side impact protection in energy-absorbent material, BeSafe iZi Combi X3 has advanced belt routing (lock-off device), making it easy to install. Whether installed to face forwards or rearwards, the seat is equally stable owing to the unique belt tensioner.

The seat is ECE R44-03 approved for use facing rearwards from 0-18kg, and facing forwards from 9-18kg. It came top in the toughest car seat test, VTI/Vi Föräldrar 2006.

iZi Up

Parents are very concerned about safety for their babies and toddlers, but when kids are at four, it seems like the safety aspects is less important. However, also kids are very vulnerable and need more protection than a car safety belt can give. The body is heavier and by impact, the frontal displacement can be very harmful. Belt intrusion with severe injuries in the abdomen area can easily occur if sufficient safety is not taken into account. By side impacts a booster seat will not give any protection to head and shoulder. Therefore we have got a new European law saying that all children up to 135cm shall sit in a child seat. Besafe iZi Up X2 is developed to meet the most demanding requirements for safety, both by side impacts and frontal impacts.

Belt hooks, which normally lead to dangerous misuse are left out, and by iZi Up X2 the geometry of the car belt will be as intended from the car manufacturer, over the pelvis of your child.
